Registering your group is easy. You can choose to either register online, or download our registration form and mail it in with your payment.

Registration Basics
Once the Special Events Department receives your registration and payment, we can register and house your group. The registration cost for Summer in The Son is $250 per person. You will begin by paying a $75 pre-registration fee for each individual. These pre-registrations may be transferred between High School and Middle School weeks or refunded until the deadline is reached.

Once the deadline has passed you are responsible for the balance of at least the number you have pre-registered at that point and you may no longer receive a refund. However, you will be able to add to your registration numbers beyond the deadline with a $10 late fee. Please note that registration fees are non-refundable after the deadline. You will then be responsible to pay the remaining balance at check in of the week you attend. The Registration deadline is May 24, 2010. What If My Group Size Changes?
Don't worry about getting your whole group together before registering. If your group grows in size, as they usually do, just send in a new registration reflecting your new registrants only, and we will make the adjustments.

Family Discount
In an effort to help families with multiple students, SITS offers a "family" discount. Sibling groups (as well as parents of attending youth serving as sponsors) can register for just $225 per person. Download the form "

Permission & Medical Forms
Once your group has been registered, please make sure the parents of each student fills out a "
Permission/Medical Form For Students". Make sure your adult sponsors fill out a "Medical Release Form For Sponsors" (don't forget your own) and finally, all participants must sign an "Individual code of conduct".  Please have these forms filled out upon arrival. Please note that you should have two copies of each medical release form. One is for your records and the other is to be turned in to the Special Events Office upon arrival.

Registration FAQ's

What happens after I register?
You’ll receive an invoice showing your registration deposit. As your week approaches, you will receive (both e-letter and snail mail) more details you need to know about the week. At any time you’re not getting the info you need as fast as you need it, please don’t hesitate to contact us!

**What’s the Covenant Church Discount?
We’re glad you asked. Covenant Churches are those who partner with Kentucky Christian University by contributing at least $200 per month. There are a number of perks, including a $2,000 scholarship per student per year if they attend KCU. Oh, and 2 FREE Registrations to SITS each year you remain a Covenant Church (a $500 value).  If your church is a CC, there is a spot on both the downloadable form and the web registration portal to indicate that and receive your two free registrations. Please note that the discount can only be used once during the summer and can only be used by the church that qualifies (no giving them away, selling them on Ebay, etc).
